Diving in Los Frailes (for certified divers)
One of the nicest dive spot we have to present is called "Los Frailes
Islands". 8 different islands in the northeast of Isla Margarita, building
an underwater world paradise to explore.
Los Frailes is seated 12 km northeast of Isla Margarita, a 45 minute boat
ride from "El Tirano", an old fishermen town close to Playa el Agua beach.
08:30 - Time to pick up our diving guests for a trip today! Leaving by boat
from El Tirano in 45 minutes to Los Frailes, hoping to see some visitors
during the boat ride, for example: dolphins, flying fishes, sea-turtles or
maybe a whale.
10:30 - Welcome to Los Frailes islands, Here we prepare the snorkeling and
diving equipment in our diving base "Villa Tropical" (Rancho de Locos),
getting ready to dive.
12:30 - Yummy, after a beautiful dive, we fill up the divers stomach with
fried fish and chicken.
14:00 - After this "siesta", we are getting launched for the second dive
this day.
16:30 - Back to the civilization. Our guests are happy and tired, what a
great day!
